Hello!

I am trying to run a modal analysis of a pump shaft together with the rotors and magnetic drive coupling. In all, there are 7 components present in the simulation.

After setting up my simulation and running it on the cloud, it runs for about 30 minutes showing progress and then i get the following error:

Mesh Details:
Error: Solver Error
Error: An error occurred while solving the model.

The model is attached in the following link:

What is the reason for this error?

I searched the forums and the only proposed solution i could find was to reinstall the software, which i already did but did not solve the issue.

Thank you in advance!

Hi Andrei, sorry you have having this issue. I would like to look into this but I am not able to access that link. Could you share a public link or export a fusion archive and attach it?

Thanks!

Hi @grigore.andrei1234

I suggest that you look at the output file to see the full text of the solve error. Right-click on "Results" in the browser, then "Solver Data > Solver Output". There should be an error number, such as E5004, which indicates what the problem is. You may need to use articles from knowledge.autodesk.com written for Inventor Nastran to decipher what the error number means.

Then you should post your questions and model to the Fusion forum. Simulation Mechanical is a different program and most readers here will be unfamiliar with Fusion.

John.
