Not showing keystrokes or commands when I playback recordings

Hello

I am using Autocad 2016 and Advance Steel 2016 and currently have Screencast Version 3.5. I am new to Screencast and I love the idea of this. I am running into an issue when I am playing my recordings back. I want to record the keystrokes and commands I use in the Screencasts but I am not able to get them to show up. For the communities information I do have the "Capture Keyboard Events" checked.

Thank you,

I have the same problem. There is no command timeline shown on my casts, only product timeline. Hopefully someone will chime in to help us find a solution

Not really sure why but the problem seems to have fixed itself for me. My new screencasts are showing command timeline now. Hope the OP gets his problem solved.

I am having the exact same problem. All I see is the "Product" line with the Fusion 360 logo icon, nothing else. Has anyone found the cause of this?

Well, I was able to get the keyboard commands to show up in the lower part of the screencast screen. I'm not sure if this will work for everyone, but here's what I did:

I realized that when I originally installed Screencast, I de-selected some of the products in the installation window. Since I only use Fusion 360, I de-selected AutoCAD and other programs that I didn't have. This installation is where I had the trouble with the keyboard commands not being displayed.

So I un-installed Screencast, and re-installed it, this time I left everything selected (this is the default). Now I get the keyboard commands! Hope this helps others.

Tony
