Idea For Screencast Editing Improvement

It would be great if while editing a Screencast you could re-record video as well as re-recording audio.  Otherwise, you have to make sure you get a recording of everything on the first go, but sometimes during editing you realize that it would be better if you could re-record a segment of the video too.
