Hi,
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open protocol that standardizes how applications deliver context to large language models (LLMs). Similar to how USB-C provides a universal connection for devices and peripherals, MCP offers a consistent framework for integrating AI models with diverse data sources and tools.
I recently observed Blender MCP paired with Claude AI, enabling users to generate 3D models directly within Blender via the Claude desktop app. This seamless integration highlights the potential for MCP to revolutionize structural modeling and design, especially as we move toward full automation.
I suggest exploring the implementation of MCP with RSA for text-to-structural-design workflows. Additionally, introducing an "Autodesk Chat" LLM tailored for modeling and design in Revit and RSA could position Autodesk as a leader, providing a significant edge over competing software.
