Importing AutoCAD file

Dears,

I know that Autodesk gives all priorities for RSA-BIM interoperability, but we received many inquiries and projects in CAD drawings. Autodesk owns AutoCAD and RSA however, I find importing a CAD file into RSA is primitive!

 

I look forward to more steps in this direction. 

 

Tips

in AutoCAD, we can make layers for beams, columns and slabs. RSA can be developed to read such layers as objects directly. e.g. drawing beams for layer beams and draw areas for layer slabs and so on!
