I use RSA built in steel connection designer but if I want a design the connection and assign to a node there is no option for that kind of feature. I think we can design the connection from scratch without selecting members from the structure and if we need loads from a specific structural model, we can just enter the node number for designed connection and import the loads automatically instead of entering manual calc forces.
Most of the time I have to enter loads and NTM values manually after checking in member forces and it creates unnecessary workload for already calculated note or in member loads.
