Bar on elastic ground depends on member axis Y or Z.

Can't you just rotate the member to default value (0 degrees)?  If its a symmetrical member it should be OK?

If you need to have the member rotated 180 degrees, you could define a new member that has the same properties, but with no rotation then add the elastic support to it.

Hello,
It seems to be a section created in sections editor and the axis of symmetry is rotated to the vertical. In this case, if it is a section "T", I use parameterized BI (not BT) sections to get the desired "T".

If thsi is a bidirection spring - it does not matter on which side symbals are displayed.

If unidirectional you can leave display as it is and set properly uplift direction according to local CS of bar.

Or :

Please mind that the symbol of elastic ground is always displayed at the 'negative' side of a bar but as it is just the graphical display it does not determine the behavior of the elastic soil. This is governed by the definition of the soil itself. If you need unidirectional action then depending on the direction of the local Z axis of the bar you have to set UZ+ or UZ- in the elastic ground label e.g. for uplift in the positive direction of the Z axis of the global coordinate system in the way shown on the attached picture
