How to mesh these panels

I modeled this cantelevered stair made out of tubes as extruded panels.  How do I mesh this so the horizontal tubes mesh with the sloping beam?  What settings do I need to check to make this mesh together?

Here's a picture of the stairs, I tried simplifying it by taking out the fillet corners on the tubes...still coudn't mesh right.  The treads won't mesh to the stringer.  Also, I can't get a square mesh to form on any panel.  What am I doing wrong?

Why not just use bar elements??

I wanted to model the warping of the sidewall in the stair stringer. The tread welds to the side wall and this connection will have some flex as the sidewall is only 1/4" thick. I wanted to model this in Robot but can't get the stair tread panels to mesh with the stringer panels. Any idea how to do this?

At least 2_side(6) can not be made by extrusion.

Take a look below:

- red part of the stringer - made by extrusion

- grey part of the stringer - ordinary panel

Meshing parameters, extrusion parameters in attached file.

One more thing, if you play with this model later, meshing order: treads first, red part of the stringer , grey part of the stringer
