Can someone let me me know how to activate the numbers in the x and y axis?
Also the small dots in the working windows doesnt appear.

Vertical and horizontal numbers are not showing - also grid in the working window doesnt show
On menu View/display/view , mark/check "Grid" and "Ruler"

You have to switch to 2D Plan view. The ruler and grid is not displayed in 3D view.
