I used UPN120 shapes for modelling a structure, I need to perfrom lateral buckling analysis but when i run the calculation RSA shows the following message:
For bars .... the program has not performed the lateral buckling verification. Bars were assigned such
section types for which the program does not perform the lateral buckling analysis or the lateral buckling
verification is not required (for exemple My • 0.0 • no bending).
How can I do the buckling analisys?
Someone answered mi "In this case it is caused by lack of axial compression force in governing case or there is My=0 in governing case \ design point." but isn't true.
