Hi
I am designing a panel and the option to change the Z axis is not available, no idea why. Can't find an answer online. If someone here could help me, i would appreciated it.
Thank you

If you are using a "shell" Structure type , the corresponding icon will be on the vertical toolbar on the right side.

If it is not there , you can also activate the dialog on Geometry/properties/ Local panel direction.

If it also does not appear in this menu(geometry) , then try to make it appear on Tools/customize.../customize menu... then goto geometry/properties and make sure "local panel direction" is green clicking on it to change it from red to green

Hi @pedrotavaresdecastro ,

Try to open your model using Repair Mode and then check the Structure type as advised by @Rafacascudo

Still nothing happens. I have done it now, choosing a Building Design type structure. It allows me to change the Z axis direction of the panel. But in the Slab design it just does not. It should right?

no it shouldn´t. on slab design you can only model in the xy plane.

why would you want to change the z axis direction?

Because the theoretical analysis of a slab that i am using uses z+ axis facing down and Robot uses z+ facing up. Therefore, the moments are all of simectrical value. I wanned to change the direction so i don´t have that diference. It seems strange to me the option is not available in the slab design, but i don't know maybe is me that is not understanding it correctively.
Thank you for help anyway

I see 2 options .

1-Remain on "slab design" and apply all loads in Z+ direction to have the moments with the signal you need like in te picture below

2- Change the structure type to "shell" and invert the Z axis direction
