Tunnel with opening and support frame

Hello,

I am trying to design a tunnel with a opening for access to the side of the tunnel and a frame to support the opening. Is there a different type of analysis i need to use? As linear analysis and standard modeling of the tunnel panels keeps giving the warning of incoherent nodes and the forces are not correctly distributing. Additionally the frame does not appear to mesh correctly to the panels.

Kind Regards,

Anthony

Hi @anthony.rooney7HR29 ,

It is hard to say what is going on without having the model. You can zip it and attach to the message.

Hello,

I have attached the model, the loading applied is currently indicative however i am just trying to get the model to work efficiently without the load first.

Kind Regards,

Your center panel with the "hole" has not the same arc discretization as the 2 lateral panels. They have to be identical for the "polygonal" neighbors circles to match..

Also , on job preferences , meshing , do not use/mark kinematic constraints in incoherent points

To complete @Rafacascudo 's  comment, the members arc discretization must fit panels discretization.
