Tributary Load In Robot 2023

Hi there,

This functionality seems to work if i build a model directly in Robot.

if i transfer from Revit to Robot it doesn't. Basically it calculates the load take down diagram, no errors but the tables for the results are empty.

To transfer from Revit to the Robot load take down mode eventually you have to copy and paste the model in the tributary load mode or transfer from Revit in a Robot tributary model where you have just one element, so the model came across.

Do you have any idea to fix this?

Thank you

Hi @dPellegrino

It shouldn't matter if you build a model in Robot or import from Revit for load take-down method.

Can you share the Robot model exported form Revit?  Zip rtd file and attach to the post.

Thanks for the reply. I attaching the file below.

You'll notice the test model on the left (full building-coming from Revit) and then a quickly built model just to test it on the right (2 columns with a panel on top - built in Robot).
If you check under results, only the 2 columns built in Robot have results for load take down and tributary load.

Thanks for your help

@dPellegrino

Your zip file seems to be empty, 1kB in size.

The story definition is messy.  There are a few warnings and errors on calculations.

If you redefine stories in Robot to the floor levels, then the tributary areas are calculated.

If you want to create stories on the transfer from Revit to Robot, then check "Building Story" in Level properties in Revit.
