Shell-column release

Hi there,

I have a concrete slab which I am modelling as a shell. I want to provide a release all-around this shell so that I only get sagging moments in the slab and therefore get no moments transferred to my columns due to slab loading however I can't work out how to do this. As I understand it, linear releases only work at shell-shell interfaces?

Please see the images attached of my model - you can see the slab moment in the panel cut I have created. My steel columns are continuous so I don't think I can provide releases at the column-slab node - you can see my releases etc in the second image I have attached. I'd be grateful for any advice.

Why not trying and see what happens??
