Setting default weld size in connection design

Hi,

May I know if it is possible to set the default weld size before a connection is defined?

I have a model with 200 welded connections, what is the quickest way to change the weld size for all the 200 connections?

for a collection of fasteners, the quickest way is to use the API. Do you have more details ?

Thanks for your reply. Is API a separate module or comes with Robot?

I am designing a steel truss bridge and have about 200 connections to check. The default weld size is 5.0mm (not sure where it was specified). It will be time consuming to change the weld size one by one so I was thinking is it is possible to change the default 5.0mm weld size.

hi @t_ng 

your case is to read all the weld dimensions in a single document. that's what the attached excel file does.
It's best to save your work before proceeding, and use the API from a copy. writing the data will be more difficult.
