Hi,

I have defined seismic load type for my analysis model in X and Y direction. When I check base reaction I see reaction in both X and Y direction for EQY, however for EQX it is showing correctly.

Can anyone please tell what is the cause for this issue ?

In your modale analysis, mode 1 is a torsion mode so it will create  forces in X and Y

You must increase Kx and Ky or block the raft contour in X and Y direction

Restraining the raft in X and Y direction did the job. Thanks Simau!
