Robot to SAP

Hello,

I need to convert a model done in Robot to SAP.

I remember seeing sth in the forum re that but can not find it at the momento. I think it was done via Revit?

Can anyone please help with this?

Also, can confirm what things are / are not lost in the process?

e.g.

bar sections

material properties

loading

releases

member type parameters (steel design)

My client uses SAP while we use Robot, they need to check our work and it'll be a lot easier if we can send a model of the structure. It must be a case that happens often?

Upps, sorry.
The answer is : Robot is not capable to export model to SAP \ SAP file by its own.
Maybe there is plugin somewhere on the web doing that.

Hi,

I think that using revit as "import-export" hub can be the best solution. I'm sure that you will loose all the verification parameters for bars

If this don't work you can try with an sdf file, but in this case you will loose also the loads.

At the end, you can try via data table...
