Hello! My company is working on increasing the speed of calculations in Robot. So the question is will the program work on 2 processor (not 2 core)  workstation and will it increase the performance of the programm? Thanks.

Hello

I am using Robot each day on doing very complex and complicated models - up to and over 200 000 FEM nodes. Wwe are using machines with many processors. Robot uses only one of them - for designing gometry and loads. The same thing with calculations.

The problem is not with the designing - but with the calculations - it takes hours to calculate our projects. The thing is that Robot does not use the whole potention off our work stations.

It is possible to lounch many Robot applications at one time - the calculation and designing time will be the same - too long.

Please do something about it.

Dear Artur.

Of course those models are calculated in multisolver. Nevertheless it still takes too long time to calculate such a model.

The rummour says that multisolver distroys FEM net in some of them.

Have they also revealed the way a solver is used to edit a geometry of a model? Must be an X file for Intel to investigate Smiley Happy

If anything like that happened it must have been another reason. If you are able send a model where such situation happens I'd like to have a look at if if possible.
