Robot Input text file to make changes

Hi, 

I am fairly new to Robot Structure Analysis software so any guidance is appreciated.

I have used several other softwares i.e ETABS/SAFE/SAP2000/STAAD/MIDASCivil they all have an option of creating text file of input data. so wondering if Robot also creates text(editable) file of input details in robot?

i was trying to edit Load Combination factors and i wasnt able to find how i can make that change?

Hi @ajafri3PJTF 

Save model in .STR format (it is text file).

It is possible for bar structures. Text file does not support panels.

To edit load combinations factors  goto Load/Combination table , then click on  "edit" tab, down  below on the letf.

You can also create your combinations on excel and then copy and paste on this table.

Robot text file is probably very old/outdated and surely does not support all the features the program has now
