Robot for Brazilian projects

Hello,

I was looking for a steel structure analysis solution and just found that Robot could do this job.

However, I also found that it has a problem with Brazilian norms and other stuff. Because of that, people were avoiding the software.

I would like to know if there is any solution to those problems. If not, what do they impact on my projects?

There are many engineers passionate about Robot and many projects in Brazil. We have a Robot forum in portuguese and they are exchanging ideas there, so I recommend you take a look here.

   Well , that is a 20 year old request by myself since Robobat days when the software name was Robot Millenium.

Despite Brazil being on the top 10  economies in the world for quite a long time , we were always completely ignored by Robobat and now by autodesk.

   Many talks along these 20 years , but the best we had was ,"use API and create a spreadsheet by yourself" .

   So , no problems to use  any of the RSA featured analysis ,to solve static, dynamic,etc problems.

Regarding codes , use AISC LRFD for steel and Eurocodes for concrete . Those are the closest foreign codes similars to ours.

Or build your own custom made spreadsheet , which of course will be very limited compared to RSA official results , specially for concrete structures

I agree with Rafael, Autodesk should take a better look in our economy and include the Brazilian's code in Autodesk Robot.
