Rigid link or offset

Hello,

Which is the best way to consider a beam on top of another ? for example the secondary beams on a roof?

In my case in the picture the highligthed in green are on top.

It is better way consider offset or rigid link?

Thanks

This is a beam structure, so I would use the offset function. It works the same as a rigid link, but is easier to define. See the Robot Help on offsets: https://help.autodesk.com/view/RSAPRO/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-DFB075D8-BD24-4946-8D4F-3175E93DEBA3
