Reservoir - Robot Structural Analysis

Good Morning,

I am new to Robot Structural Analysis and I have some queries I would like to discuss. I am designing a Reservoir Structure with a beam-column system and a masonry wall on the perimeter. I have modelled the reservoir, however I have these issues:

1) How can I input on the model that my perimeter walls are brick walls?
2) As seen from the attached model, I have high moment concentration where the beam and wall interact. As a consequence, I have a high amount of steel required on the edges of the slab. How can I solve this please?
3) I would like to have the wall and slab as 2 separate elements, such that the slab has some freedom of movement and not act monolithic with the wall.

Thanks in advance.

Your model has no slab at the bottom/support level . Your walls have perpendicular support on both local directions Uz+ and Uz- (foundation elasticity). It should have uplift on Uz- direction.

Search the forum for the many threads on how to model mansory walls
