Hi, 

Does anyone have any good free resources on releases and what the various xxf xxx notation stands for, very new to ROBOT.

Releases description (example xxf xxx ) is presented in the following order

ux, uy, uz, rx ,ry ,rz (bar end release direction in local bar system of coordinates)

u - bar end displacement

r - bar end rotation

In release description

f- means free degree of freedom

x - means fixed degree of freedom

xxf xxx - means that bar end in local UZ direction is released for displacement, while other UX UY RX RY RZ are free for displacement or rotation).
