Hi Guys,
I'm running into lots of errors when I make the columns under pinned (release at top of column). I was wondering if someone could help me with that please.
You cannot have pinned supports(Rx,Ry,Rz free) on one end of the bar and have Rx release(torsion) or rigid link Rz free at the other end.
But even fixing this at one of the bar ends will not make the combinations to converge for "large displacements " nonlinear analysis.
It will converge ,though , to Pdelta analysis alone
