Hi all, I am designing the reinforcement of a concrete two way slab, and when clicking on provided reinforcements tab, I am getting the same required reinforcement ,At, for both X and Y direction as seen in the attached photos. Also the top arrow is remaining in the same direction. Is there any way I can fix this please?

Hi @ashley_calleja

This option must be used for your structure

I made some modifications to your model:

- Slab remeshed

- Selfweight added and some combinations created

- Required reinforcement calculated before provided reinforcement

- Look at reiforcement type parameters i used here

And what if I want to change the thickness of concrete to 300mm? Do I need to make any additional adjustments?

Thank you. I noticed that with the model the moments in the beam reduced significantly from what I had. Is there any reason why this changed? Thank you for your responses I am still new at using Robot.

@ashley_calleja

I didn't change anything in your model except a tighter meshing.
