RC BEAM BETWEEN 2 SLABS

I WOULD LIKE TO MODEL A RC BEAM BETWEEN TWO SLABS, ANY IDEA ABOUT HOW TO DO IT?

Hi @Anonymous

You can model it by 2 ways

1- By panel act like a beam between this 2 slabs then you can get the reduced results and design separately.

 

2- By model as a beam at level of one of these slabs then divide this beam and the other slab edge by same segment length then create a rigid link between each point of the beam to corresponding one fro the slab.

@mustafahesenow. MY PANEL IS Number 136, what should I to choose to make a moment desing?

The moment for your panel is the moment in reduced result table MRz (which is related to in plane moment for the panel).

Mxy is out of plain moment component .
