Problem from a non-suspended slab supported on ground

Hi Artur,

I try another way to simulate a 15m x 12m non-suspended RC slab on the ground.  When the nodes within the slab are assigned with Kz for soil elasticity, an error message was notice - no convergence of non linear problem (please see attached snip).

Can you please go through my file and identify why the errors occurred?

Thanks & regards,

Theophilus

Hi @Anonymous

Activate "Matrix update for each iteration" for all load cases (Nonlinear analysis parameters).

Refer to this article

Hi @Krzysztof_Wasik ,

I have tried the ways from the recommended page as suggested you.  However, it does not work.    Can you please have a look on my model and suggest relevant improvements to the model?

The intention of the model is to simulate the behavior of the cast-on-ground RC slab under static and moving loads.

Thanks & regards,

Theophilus

Hi @Anonymous

I have checked your file (last attached version). For cases 1 and 2 (active cases). Matrix update after each iteration is not checked. So it seems that you have not applied suggested solution.

When I will check this option on model converges.
