Hello

Could You please help me with this issue:

When I export data from Robot into Word - using Save in Printout composition Wizard menu

I get too smal pictures to read it out.

Another problem is that there are always two pictures for one site. I'd like to have them as big as possible on one site.

please let me know if it is issue of Robot or Word - I use word 2010.

Best Regards.

Hi,

As far as I understood you are taking screenshots and your problems is that screenshots appear small in size at the printout. This is due to the resolution of the screenshot, you can follow this help page to have a grasp on the matter.

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/robot-structural-analysis-products/learn-explore/caas/CloudHel...

I'm using RSA 2014 and for this version basicly you have 3 options:

first is that the captured view is generated upon print time, this is dynamic, in which latest state of the model is presented on the view. However with this option unfortunately you don't have the choice to set resolution and shots appear pretty lowres.

second is PNG option where the screenshot is saved as a static image at the time its taken, here you can adjust the resolution for bigger and crisp images.

third option copies screenshot to clipboard so you need to insert it to your document right away.

It's a pitty that you can not set the resolution for screenshots updated upon printing, hope this is fixed in newer versions.

Best option for me is print to a pdf "printer" like pdf995 or similar.

This way you can keep " updated upon printing" screenshot setting and the resolution will be as good as you were printing on paper which is perfect!!!!
