i have to define raft with piles foundation.  i defined raft with th=1000mm kz=1250 Kn/m3 ((according per soil report )
but i dont what value kx.ky .kz for pile 600 mm l=4m

Sorry to drag an old thread up again. I'm trying to do something similar in a project, applying horisontal springs to piles. I've came across this method but I don't seem to get it properly. There was an example provided here which calculates k.h, but doing the same in Mathcad gives me a totally different answer. I've also tried to get hold of some theory but cant't find anything on Menard and this approach. Can someone guide me in the right direction?

The right example is provided from this thread, and the left is my calculations.
