picture1picture1picture2picture2Hello!

I have a question related to panel meshing regeneration.

As first picture indicated, I have a panel with opening working normally

and then I am changing the mesh settings from 1m to 0.5m meshing and regenerate mesh.

and then it becomes the situation in second picture.

question is how do I prevent the regeneration of the mesh to create node in the openings?

Hi @wangjue1990

Make sure the openings are exactly in the panel plane. As an alternative delete the surface elements from the openings and freeze the mesh.

Thanks for the quick reply!

just few doubts:

make sure they are in the same plane:

if they are not in the same plane, how come in picture1 they generate mesh correctly?

as the other option, so you mean I manually delete the nodes in the openings and freeze that mesh?

Appreciate your answers!

If they are on the verge of the model generation tolerance it can end up in either of the outcomes.

as the other option, so you mean I manually delete the nodes in the openings and freeze that mesh?

Correct.

Good afternoon,

I 've got the same issue plus i have nodes creating mesh on the roof around the columns(see image attached). i tried to delete them but it seems that they cannot be deleted. i also remeshed my model but still the problem is there. i have attached a link with the model for your consideration. Would you recommend anything which could solve my problem?

An alternative tip I found useful: If you select the opening or the relevant panel object and attempt to change the geometry (even if there is no resultant change), then remesh, the problem seems to fix itself. Easier than deleting and redefining.
