Hi everyone,

I have attached the model I am working on.

It is a facade aluminum panel composed of aluminum panel, 2 stiffeners and a frame. The direction of the load is downward but the deformed shape and the displacement maps gives me positive magnitude.

The diagrams are correct but with a  wrong magnituted, with opposite sing of the correct one.

Please help! 🙂

Your panel local Z axis is pointing downward (Global Z -) , and your map is for displacements in local coordinate system , If you choose "principal " tab and mark Z( global ) displacement, values will be negative . For the values to have the same value signal you would have to invert your Z local panel direction.
