No Convergence of nonlinear problem, 3D inclined / sloping panels

Hi All,

Certain load combinations gives this error even though the mesh and deformation looks ok, forces look ok.

i believe this error is caused by the inclined / sloping panels. has anyone encounter this issue before and how can i resolve it. don't think this is a buckling or high deformation issue as the movement is only ~15mm.

i have adjusted the following in Robot structural 2017

1. Increase number of iteration for one increment from 40 to e.g. 100

i have attached the robot file for debugging.

Hi @Anonymous

It seems that due to high values of KX KY and KZ and expected uplift effect model is very sensitive to FE mesh size

I have refined FE mesh decreasing mesh size to 0.3

Now all load cases can be calculated

See attached file
