No Convergence of non-linear problem

Hello,

I have this 2D model which I doing an analysis for.

When running my analysis (combination 1) I am getting a warning/error "no convergence of nonlinear problem" . I am not aware of why this is so I do not really know what is going on.

Your help will be appreciated

Hi @Anonymous

Activate large displacements for all load cases.

Thank you!

When trying to run the live loads on the short span I am getting the same error, I have imputed the P-Delta and Large Displacements as well. Do you know what the issue could be?

Also when I try and run the analyse on the Live Load Short span, the dead loads remains there. I have tried deleting it and adding it again but the dead load consistently stays every time I change to the live load. Why is this happening?

Hi @Anonymous

First lad case is always assembly case for cable structure. All other loads are applied on assembly case (generating initial prestressed cable structure stage (assembly stage) . You cannot remove load case 1 when next cases are calculated.

Hi @Anonymous

I think you should define some initial forces in cables. For instance when I will define cables relative elongation dL=-0.003 model converges
