Model running slow - RSA 2019

Hello,

I have Robot model, file size is approx. 80 Mb.(download file) it runs extremely slow.

Switching between tabs, opening results etc. takes a lot of time, it's impossible to work on it.
I already tried to open file in Repair Mode and use different computers, but without any progress.

Laptop specs: i7 - 8750H; 16GB RAM; Nvidia - GEFORCE GTX 1060 max Q

Can you advice me how to deal with it?

Thank you in advance

Hi @Anonymous, lucky you, your laptop spec looks definitely good.

On my old i7-2860QM; 16GB RAM; Nvidia Quadro 1000M your model runs not fast but with relativly acceptable performance.

You may try to use "save results in external file" option, use Prepare results and save selected part as a Substructure.

Hi @Romanich,
First of all, thank you for response. Regardless my laptop’s specs, the problem steel remains. I saved results in RT file, but model steel freezes and can’t fix it. I’m new user of RSA and I don’t know the program very well, but I guess nobody could work with that kind of problem, so I suppose that it isn’t programs fault.
I tried to change “Display acceleration” in the view parameters, but that wasn’t a problem I think.
In that RTD file, I can’t even copy objects without approx. 10 seconds waiting and I think it’s too long.
What for the results, when I want to see deformations of modal case, computer starts thinking and it lasts more than 25 sec.
Did you check this model in your computer and was everything ok, when you opened the results, or even tried to simply rotate or turn some visualizations?
In video tutorials guys showing their models, they don’t have such problem. So I think that I’m doing something wrong, but unfortunately can’t find out what’s going on.
Has anyone had that kind of issue? Or can you recommend anything?

In your model with results, I have approximately the same timing.

@Romanich
So, is it okay even for my computer to work slow?
And is it possible to calculate high buildings without lagging?

hi. @Romanich@Anonymous

Same problem. With tall buildings, when making reinforcement for concrete beams. Sure RSA will be slow.

hi. @Artur.Kosakowski

I have to take 5h to complete "RC element update" for Beam 138 ..150. Very slow speed. Can I send private models to you in private?

Hi @ledinhchinh0409

Could you confirm if it is the RC beam update (for already calculated model) or just the model calculation time as the model I received was saved without the result.

Hi @ledinhchinh0409

The situation is due to most likely corrupted storage of data about manual combinations. When the program needs to reach for data from this storage the access is very slow. We are not able to fix this file for you which makes me feel very bad but we (the development team) will investigate this situation further to find out how to prevent this from happening.

Could you tell me if it was that you was able to work with this model with no issues up till some moment it got slow or was it something else you experienced?

Hi @Artur.Kosakowski

Thank you very much. I have sent you a document, my model has no errors, or any warning. Only when the design of the reinforcement for the beams, it becomes very slow. If the model changes then the update will be very difficult.

Hi @ledinhchinh0409

It is not about you making any error in modelling. It is about the binary data storage being corrupted in this file Smiley Sad

hi @Artur.Kosakowski

Yes sir. My other models are the same. Hopefully RSA will fix this.

Hello i have the same problem, the RC ELEMENT UPDATE takes several hours to complete even for a calculated model (aprox 10 concrete beams) , did you find how to fix this issue?
