Meshing on scaffold

Is it always necessary to apply a mesh to the structure if I want to calculate the stresses caused by loads? When researching meshes, it seemed to me it is always applied to panels. Is it possible to apply meshes to small sections like in a scaffold member?

No need to mesh bars/members.

You can have stress diagrams on Results/diagrams for members...

Also there is a detailed stress analysis for bars in the same menu.
