Kz elastic foundation coefficient - what it really means?

I am not a geotechnical engr.; is the "elastic foundation coefficient" Kz used by RSA (found in Geometry>Properties>FE thickness dialog in Parameters of foundation elasticity) the same as "modulus of subgrade reaction" Ks from a soils study?

For use in RSA does one has to transform Ks into Kz? How does one do such conversion?

No difference, the same!

Kz or Ks represents the stiffness of the spring model for the soil representations.
