IT CAN BE AVOIDED THE PUNCHING DESIGN IN SLAB REINFORCEMENT ???

Hi everyone,

I've modeled a composite steel-concrete bridge. To create the connection between the slab and the beams (stud) I used a round steel bars. When I run the design of the reinforcement concrete of the slab, there are a lot of reinforcement used only for punching, but the punching is not really present in the slab. It exist a way to avoid the punching calculation in Robot??

I could change the studs in to Rlink, but I'd like to know if there is another way.....

Thanks in advance for your usual kindness.

Cheers

Hi Stefano,

Try to define 1 mm size beams at the locations of the studs as punching is not checked over beams.
