Information about assemblies

Hello everyone,

I contact you because I have a problem about the assemblies in Robot.

I don't get the same calculation by hand and by robot...

It's for the column web in transverse compression:

By hand: Fc,wc,Rd=1*1*160mm*6mm*235N/mm²=225.6 kN

By Robot: Fc,wc,Rd=206.17 kN

Can somebody help me to find this mistake ?

I think the software does a lot of data approximation.

It's for the column web in transverse compression:

By hand: Fc,wc,Rd=1*1*160mm*6mm*235N/mm²=225.6 kN

By Robot: Fc,wc,Rd=206.17 kN

The difference is that you used the rounded values for your hand calculations (as set to be displayed in the calculation note by the display precision you set in Job preferences) whereas RSA internally uses the not rounded values:
