Hi @Anonymous,

Was the model exported from Revit?

Hi @Anonymous ,

I had a look at your model  and all problems are due to small geometrical imprecisions . Always be aware when there are large concentration of nodes very close to each other.

many nodes.jpg

Also many FE acute triangles like below

acute fe.jpg

When you look closer you can spot the imprecision

edge.jpg

And those above are not causing incoherent mesh error.

Also , I always prefer to mesh large models in stages. After correcting the model Try meshing the slabs 1st , freeze the mesh and then mesh the walls and freeze the mesh.

Always freeze the mesh if it seems OK!!.

Always use at least 4 or 5 decimals for coordinates/dimensions(job preferences/units) . Many times you can only check differences with 8,9 decimals!!

Hi @Rafal.Gaweda

How would you correct it in Revit??

Level by level or can it be done in a single step as in detailed correct?

Hi @Rafacascudo

In Revit, there should be grid lines defined in correct analytical wall planes and then

grid1.jpg

or walls should be correctly created from scratch
