Importing Files

can we import any file in igs format or iges format or dxf format to robot? how?

You can import igs and dxf files

File --> Open Project and change file type. That's it.

thx. but when i try in this way, the file in dwg format, it opens in 2d and not in 3d. the whole object is considered as either front view or top view. i.e. for any node in the object, z coordinate is 0(zero) only though, it is 3d frame. how to treat with such files?

I can't help you with dwg files. I work in dgn files and when I want to import files in robot I only work with dxf files. Why don't you save your file in dxf file before importing in robot?
