Hollow Sections Column-Beam Connections

Helo,

here, when I select Design- steel connection design, I enter the connections. here when I select new connection such as frame knee - column beam etc. But when I try to define any connection, I can define them for I section only. I want to define them for hollow rectangular and hollow circular sections. can you help?

2) here also i cant find T joint option for beams in a same plane, i.e. beam to beam connection T joint.

Only I sections are currently supported.

   I don't think that there is any National Code that covers these type of connection (except maybe Japanese)  but I could recommend an alternative solution.

Would you like

Frame Knee Connection ,

1.   Column (SHS or RHS) and Beam (SHS or RHS)  or

2.   Column (SHS or RHS) and Beam (IPE or HEA)           

I suggest IPE,HEA     for beam
