import loads without losing the trace of the dimensions

Hello

   I have calculated the footings, then I have removed the loads and inserted new loads. However, the footings on which I have worked do not take the new loads. In addition, when I import again, all the work and the dimensions that I have inserted are lost. Could you help me to import loads without losing the trace of the dimensions already made?

Dear Sir,

Try to Right click on the name of the foundation in the object inspector, then click on RC update  instead of completely importing the footing, the loads should be updated but you can verify if all the input data are kept after updating the footing.

Did you change the load cases/ combinations between the old and new design. If some cases are deleted this message may alert you to the modifications. Please verify the load cases after RC update if all the imported  design loads exist.

Yes I did and that's the problem I want to import the new combination

Try to update the same foundations a second time and verify the loads in the load table.

(Some Time RC element update is not fully functional for the first time).

If the new created combinations are not imported you need to completely redesign the foundations.

But before importing the foundations you must save all the parameters you entered in your design as you can easily use for any new similar foundations in the future:  Refer to below picture:

In the left icons you entered the parameters and save it in styles. then reuse it for the future foundations .
