Hi everyone!

I am trying to get Moments and Shear results on solid models but I cannot find it on the Maps? see blow:

But if I create Panels I can get the moments and Shear results, see blow:

Please help!! Where I can get these results for the solids?

Hi @spahlevan

There are no moments and shear forces calculated for intersection length unit (like Mxx or Qx  in rresults for shells) for solid finite elements. This type of results are not available. For solid elements stresses and strains can be presented.

You can check equivalent forces transferred by solid model cut using Results >Panel Cuts>and presenting Internal forces in the table.
