How can I copy a beam element from one model to another?

I have a beam element that I would like to copy from one file to another; can I do this in Robot? Do I perhaps have to import the entire model then delete everything besides that one beam element?

You can open two Robot instances with both models. Then you can use copy/paste option to copy members from one model to another.

You can open 2 models and Ctrl +C and V normally, but please pay attention for the coordination of the element when you do that.
