Ground slab supported rock

helli,

 

i want to calculate a ground slab supported in a lyme stone rock, but i don´t know what is the approprietad value of the Kz KN\m3, is it possible find this value in the RSA?

Hi @luismrf ,

 

If you have a rock, you can input a very high Kz value, considering that the settlement will be close to zero.

@Romanich , but how high 1000 000 kN\m3, 1000 000 000 kN\m3?

Hi @luismrf ,

 

1,000,000 kN/m3 means that you will need 1000 kPa to get a 1 mm settlement, which seems reasonable. However, if you have a geotechnical report, you can check there.
