I am generating a DAM model. I have ULS load combinations that contain gravity-only loads, and other ULS combinations contain gravity+lateral loads.
I set the DAM parameters to generate notional loads for gravity-only load combinations; however, the dam analysis uses all load combinations.
I don't understand how RSA distinguishes between a gravity-only load combination and a lateral load combination.
Does someone have any insight on this issue? Is there a parameter that needs to be added to the load combination?
