Foundations module is not taking the loads from the structure [RSA 2023]

Hello,

I am designing a foundation and when it comes to the loads it seems Robot is not taking the reactions from the model.

Should I insert them manually? In this case is pretty simple but I wanted to know why is not working properly. I have modified a reinforcement bars database but I do not think that could be the reason.

Thank you

Hi @mikelt6CWRJ

If you followed this step and checked combinations, loads will be taken into account

Hello,

Thank you. It seems now it is taking the loads:

However, now I am facing another error,"Safety factor of top reinforcement in the direction of X axis : 0.00 < 1.0".  I have checked the explanation here and I switched off the Freeze reinforcement option, but I am geeting the same error message:

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Safety-factor-of-t...

I was thinking this message is because of the user defined reinforcement bars. Also I am geeting a message of "Condition not met for: Foundation uplift in state of ULS", which I do not understand as the foundation clearly weights more that the vertical reaction I have (34 kN).

Thank you

Thank you.

Here I should give more context to the situation. What I am doing with this design is checking an existing desing which has those dimensions. The given design has the error and shows the following results and I do not get reinforcement design:

If I switch off that option I do not get that error as you explained:

Like I said, I do not really get why this foundation. Where can I check the figures? In the foundation note I only get this related with the uplift when I do as you said:

Thank you

Hello all,

I  think I find the problem. I reduced the excentricity limitation, I had A/6 as default:

Threfore, I select the following option:

And then, I get the results. Of course this a matter of how we, as designers, interpret the standard.

Best regards
