Export RC elements with reinforcement to Structural Deitailing problem

Hi all,

I'm facing some problems when sending RC elements to Structural detailling.

I'm using the Results>Structural detailling option in RC provided reinforcement module because it sends the element (that can be editable using ASD features) and not only drawings.

The first problem that appears is in the definition of regional settings where I can't find UK or Portugal.

SEE IMAGE 1 ATTACHED

When searching for some online guidance I´ve found the image below where more options are available in the same menu.

The second problem appears in Structural detailling where besides having a completely personalized template, the exported element appears with the default template options (meaning bar shape appearence, tags, colors,...).

If I try to change to the layout that I have ( copy/past element) only the reainforcement appears and without the template definitins defined by me.

Can anyone help me with this subject?

I'm using RSA professional 2013 SP3 and ASD 2013 SP1

Thank you,

Sílvio Gonçalves

Try to select your ASD template as shown on the attached picture.

Hello,

I'm having the same problem. Can't find the English or portuguese Regional Settings.

If i select a template from that file location, i can'r choose the Regional Settings, so it stills presents on the language that was set before.

What i mean, i can't still export to AutocadSD in English or Portuguese....

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm not sure if I understand the situation correctly. Do you mean the interface language of ASD not being possible to be changed to English or Portuguese? If yes, then try to install the corresponding language pack (mind that Portuguese is not available).

Hi Arthur.

No, i'm talking about the Regional Settings of the Structural Detailing Link

Regional Settings.png

I can't choose English or Portuguese in the Regional Settings. That makes that the language of the auto-created tables after the Autocad SD link is one of the selected above (that does not work for me, can't only have the language in English or Portuguese).

In this case i selected the Austria Reg.Sett..

What i said on my post earlier, even with the templates, can't change the language....

Still have to say that the tables later created in the AutoCad S.D. are created in the language i want, but the auto-created isn't, destroying the advantages of the connection.

The list of available regional settings is based on the selected RC design code as supported in the predefined ASD Reinforcement templates. The English settings will be visible (as UK) when you set BS as RC code in Robot. The Portuguese regional settings are not available but yo may create a corresponding template in ASD with Portuguese tables and the same default RC code as you set it in Robot. Then select this template file instead of choosing one of the options from regional settings list.

Assuming that you work with EC2 you may select Iceland regional settings to have English tables.
