Hi,

I made a model of concrete slab with beams in 2D structure type and everything works fine. When I changed it to 3D structure and calculated it type error 5000 has appeared.

Could you please find out why is this happening.

I have calculated the model with no issues. Please install SP2 of RSA 2017 and check if this helps.

In addition I changed the model type from building to shell - you may want to use the attached file for further work.

Thank you Artur. Model works, I installed SP2.

Now, I have problem with showing a required reinforcement in beams. Calculation is correct, but reinforcement is not visible. I am using diagram for bars/reinforcement module. Could you also try to run design of beams and just send me feedback.

Regards

Check if this is related to the display settings. You may reset the display to default and then switch on the diagrams.

I tried to reset the display and doesn't work. Also cleared cfgusr folder and nothing changed.

In table required table reinforcement there isn't top/bottom reinforcement distribution values.

There is on Fig.

Which load cases / combinations have you used for reinforcement calculations (see top right corner of the picture I attached previously)?

I used the same as you in file you sent me. Figures are attached.

IS it the same for the file I attached to the post 2?

I downloaded file from post 2 again.

Calculated it (code and calculation parameters were standard type) and it worked (reinforcement is calculated and shows required reinforcement through diagrams).

When I changed code and calculation parameters (middle beams as T shape beams and perimeter beams as gama beams) didn't work. Also didn't calculate required reinforcement.

Then again, I'm back to standard type code and calculation parameter. It calculated required reinforcement in table but won't present it on diagrams. I tried to reset display and noting.

Then I open another file. And close it and open again the same file. Required reinforcement then can be presented through diagrams. But it is not correct beacuse code and calculation parameter are standard.

Very strange and it happens only with this file.

Could you attach the file with the 'correct' design code and final reinforcement parameters assigned to the beams?
