Hello,

 

It must be trivial, but I cannot find what's wrong in the model.

The purpose is to perform modal analysis of a SDOF system with concentrated load at the top of 500 kN.

The self-weight shall be ignored. In Modal analysis case the SW is disregarded, and only load case 1 is converted to mass.

It seems that it cannot accept the concentrated load and convert it to mass.

Though, it works for selfweight only if I uncheck 'Disregard density'.

No mass acting in model
Use load to mass conversion using direction X+
